A great way to start the day!

My normal start to the day is a cup of tea some toast! Then sit down and read all our e-mails. This morning we had a particually nice one from a very happy customer. Please read below:

Hi Guys,

I had to email you after buying the two canoe paddles for my family this
Christmas.
First of all your attention to your customers, emailing to ask for a
telephone number as stocks you had were not what I required, was in my view
first class. It made me feel that I was important to your company and that
you cared about your customers. Well done.

To my surprise some 12 hours after I placed my order with your company one
of my purchases arrived here in Harlow and three hours later my daughter
phoned from Devon to say that her package had also arrived! This is truly
the service that makes a company worth dealing with again.

Happy New Year, you have helped to make our Christmas special.

Wavesport Habitat: "Fresh in store today"

The new Wavesport Habitat is now in stock in 2 sizes 74 and 80.




We have looked high and low for some info on the web for this boat, basically we failed!. This is WaveSports first creek boat for some time and they seam to have done a really good job, come in and have a paddle. This boat will take you to your favorite Habitat!, and maybe Ikea if your lucky!. The Habitat features a displacement hull that lets paddlers land softly off large drops, while hard chines toward the stern of the hull give great edging, allowing paddlers to make eddys and maneuver around obstacles.

When Shepperton bites back

This morning the mighty Shepperton weir took a nasty bite out of Peter, as he came steaming down the wave (Steve Fisher style) he snapped his paddle.
Luckily the friendly folk from System X have given Pete a spare to use till he makes up his mind about what paddle he would like for Christmas.

Pyranha,Yak, Power cuts & Mulled wine...

The Title sums up this week pretty well, it's been another great week on the river Shepperton and Sunbury are still pumping and I've finally managed to stick some big Helix flip 360 things in the new (Pyranha) 4 Twenty, really cool enjoying that boat loads at the moment! However the temperature really has fallen off over the last day or so. Today after my pre work paddle at sunbery I traveled to shepperton for a pre pre work paddle, I got there and my deck had frozen to my boat. You can tell Christmas is coming though the Thames court has started selling Mulled wine.

Merry Christmas all.....

Oh the power cut, Yesterday some pikey stole the power to the whole marina! stole all the power, long story.......

The rain clouds loom...

Last Night was the best Shepperton has been. (maybe some say EVER....) The wave was fast, the wave was steep, the air was huge, Amen

This morning however it's all gone rather flat again, Buggar!
