It’s not oftern that we get all the boys on the water at the same time! Last night though we did! This was Mikes last session before heading of to Grandtully Scotland for his first proper slalom on a river!

We also have some new kit in the shop. The NEW SR Standard helmet has arrived! Yes we have Wood! And Mike has a new top cag! Hummmmm……

(The new SR Standard helmet, In Wood! effect £49.95 Full and half cut)

(The latest piece of authentic Olympic memorabillia!)

Also Jon boy is off Europe at the moment, the first leg has been held in Prague, His report below!
Prague - First leg of the world cup
The first leg of the world cup was held on the whitewater course in Prague.
I had my reservations about attending this particular competition as I remember in 2005 for the Euro cup the event and feature not being all that great, but I am so glad I went as this time the feature was good and competition hot.

Seeing the best paddlers in the world come together to compete for the top spot saw some amazing rides, with most rides including Mc Nastys, Phoenix Monkeys and even Air Mc Nastys the competition was intense. The hole was challenging and it took some effort to keep a consistently good ride going for 45 seconds.
It all started on the Friday with the Men’s pre lims and then ending on the Sunday with the finals of all the categories coming together to make for a great day of superb competition. As the weekend went on the rain fell and feature became more and more flushy, but that didn’t stop the dramatic display of style and skill as the top boaters showed their stuff

And finally...

Shock horror, Yes I went to Hurley on Sunday and what a nice time I had too! It was almost quiet for an hour or so. Friday Seth also got his butt in gear and got down there on a low 3, And yes there is another Hurley vid to watch!

Seth Went to Hurley!

for there first time, Well done boys!

You all need a little Woodsy.

With another day of heavy rain the possibility of having to travel up the valley to either Hurley or Hambeldon for a play boating day is looking more and more likely, so with a quite break at the shop and a uncovering of a huge secret stash of circa 1980’s woodsy stickers it’s time to plaster are kit in stickers and try to find the playboat!

Are well done to Dave F too, For his sliver the other day, super run. Click on the link below to see his magnificent run, And the legend of Gold Martikan…
