Little treat!

You can’t be sure about many things in life; however a bank holiday in the UK can mean only one thing, Rain! And Sunday boy did we have rain….

On a plus side we now have 5 gates at Shepperton; you got a love this new summer weather! The weir is not quite high enough for a full on play boat play session but if you have something a little longer, Acro 275, GT, Slalom boat or an Ace Valletta then it’s rocking, Talking to the lock keeper, I think the river should hold for a day or so, which means get down there quick! Sunbury is also open, 1 full gate and two half gates so there should be something to get beaten by down there……

I think we’re going to make the most of the high water tonight and head back to Chertsey for a squirt in the room of doom! Hopefully get some pictures for tomorrow.

See Ya.

Sorry Darling….your never believe what just happened !

Well I’ve always wanted to know how long an A4 convertible can float for. So today we decided to see! After an unfortunate accident (getting his forward and reverse gears mixed up) one of the chaps from the offices down stairs found himself a little wet! To answer the question of how long dose an A4 float for a good 6 -7 minuets I would say, just long enough for George Poppy, Flo & Mike to get in there boats and row out. Luckily no one was hurt…….. Physically anyway…..

(Floating well for now)
