Big Wave small Wave No Wave....

Had a few days out of the shop last week to visit Basque land (Not Spain)? Mundaka is a picturesque fishing village and has one of the finest left hand breaks in the world! Unfortunately while we were there Mundaka didn’t work but lots of the other spots were. Are write more later about this, but for now I must finish stock checking Oh joy…..

Chertsey 10"8 Reprobate!

Over the past few weeks Pete has been locked away in matt’s glassing factory in Chertsey producing this beast! Called the Reprobate she is 10’ 8” long very fast and kind of pointy for maximum rail contact. The Reprobate is a proper old school “Rhino chaser” So named because you take it with you when you are hunting big game……

(10'8" long, 21" wide, volume ?, singel 7" fin right at the back!)
not your average boat! to order your Reprobate please see Pete or Matt?

Easter Funny Bunny.....

Let us start this blog with a question,
Can you get a dog up Crib Gogh: (The big ridge of Snowdon?)
And the answer:
Oh yes!

(Don't tell the RSPCA)

With no real water left in England I decided to spend my Easter Up a mountain with a group of seasoned professional mountain guides!!!!!!!! I also found Ms Clare Samuel (Good freind of the shop, legendary female paddler) up Snowdon, Also with here dog (Bit Random! but good to see you )

By day we climbed some fantastic mountains, and by night we drank some fantastic local beer. The weather was magical and what fun we had in Llandudno!

Sunbury’s big little brother.

The water is still dropping, but there is still fun to be had on the old girl. Sunday just gone Mike, Me and Roger (The main man @ AS) had a weir marathon starting at a very busy but very sunny Hurley. We then swiftly moved onto Hambeldon, not at its best but fun for a few minuets! Over the last 5 months we really have become very lazy here at the shop, if we have to travel anymore than 5 minuets from the shop it really will not do! And after we had left the safety of the golden mile for the first time in months (Getting very frustrated with “king Sunday drivers”) we ended up back at Sunbury. Witch is getting quite big now! More consequence then before………. Bit scary really……… And then back to Shepperton to finish up, what fun……

Technology is letting us down!

Incase you have'nt noticed we have not updated the weir levels for some time now. The reason for this, is our web editing program dose not seem to want to play anymore, we are looking into the problem and as soon as it's fixed we will be posting updates as usuall.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused, we will make up for it by ordering more rain.

So the current weir levels are as follows,

Shepperton: The best 4 gates you will ever have!

Sunbury: Is on 2 gates, big, fast, green and steep about sums it up. However it is very shallow and there is a bit of a big hole behind the wave, i like!!!!

Hurley Weir: Is on a nice 3 gates and holing.
