More Norway.

Mike sent these pictures to me the other day. These were taken on the Raundalselva near Voss,(Norway) bit low water but great fun in the sun.

Norway. 4 Chris

With Jon off in Canada playboating WWTCC head man (George) sent Pete off for some Norway river fun, for a week of boating around Voss and Sjoa. The weather was hot and the water a little low but a good time was had by all... Just before we left the UK we heard the Terrible new regarding Chris Rendu, who drowned while paddling the Amot section of the Sjoa river. With heavy hearts all the group decided to carry on with the trip, as a celebration of the life of Chris. The trip was led by Mike Abbot & Allan ellard, who for the whole week guided us through and down some of the best river I have ever had the pleasure to paddle. Big thank you to Beth & Suzan for organizing a great week.

If you like to paddle, go to this country. It has something for eveyone and so much more.

A quick post from across the pond

Canada is awesome, at the moment the Ottawa is on level 0 which means the Garb is turning green, its still good to catch but it'’s getting harder to retain moves. Left side is good most moves go and baby face has turned a tad flushy, corner wave is still good. We hope the level will go down soon.
I had a bit of an epic with my kayak the other day, I had tied my boat to a trailer to get to the put in, when we got there I found by boat trapped in between the trailer and the ground when I turned the boat over the I found a hole about 30cm wide in bottom right hand side, the boat had dragged on the road all the way from put in to take out and melted it clean, not good. I'm borrowing an All Star at the moment until I get my new boat, it should be coming this week. The river'’s pretty busy at the moment but I think its only going to get busier as it nears the world cup.

We did an over nighter trip to the Gatineau to surf a wave called High Tention, the wave was at its best we had an awesome time, check out some pics.
