DownTime . The button had been pressed, a new asylum was being born!. Some time later it was ready, time to fit it out in preparation for the first paddle tonight. Chertsey here we come!.
Aloha Back weir...
Now I have't paddled for a week or so now due to a nasty little ear infection. However last night, I desided to go for a paddle in the Robson Aloha. Nice little thing, very stable and tracks in a stright line so well it's nearly a fault!. Guess you could call it a point and shot boat. Lovely dry and comfortable. Check out the picts of the weir it's comeing along....

Postcard from the PIMP....
Lucy and I have been really busy. We have been taking night classes and weekend classes here in Auckland and have gained our New Zealand Day Skipper Theory, New Zealand Boatmaster Theory, our VHF license and our RYA Day skipper Tidal Practical qualifications. We have been sailing in the Bay of islands for all our practical sessions which is absolutely stunning. The Bay of Islands would make a great base for a couple of weeks, sea kayaking with its varied islands, crystal clear water and awesome scenery. You guys would love it out here. All you need is a sea kayak, tent, sleeping bag, food and whiskey!
After 4 months of working here in Auckland, we are moving on to Australia. We are due to travel from Cairns to Sydney and on route do some diving and some surfing.

Lyon River Festival
Last week we dispached Jon to go and have fun in Lyon while we were hard at work.
The water level for the comp was not at its best but it was still a great event, seeing some big tricks off the big air ramp.
Well done to Piers for coming 4th.

The Open Day is Nearly Here!
The Date for your diary's. Sunday June 18th 2006.
Start time 10:00 till 16:00.
Location WWTCC Shepperton Marina Felix Lane TW17 8NS. The aim of the day is to get people on the water and have fun. Try out all the latest boats, and meet the product manufactures and pro-paddlers. On the water activity's will take place on our very lovely lake and bank side compound. It fun and it's all free, so why not take the family along for a paddle and enjoy a grand day out! Refreshments will be available all day.
