Regular visitors to the shop may have noticed lately that one of our most esteemed members of staff has gone traveling. D & L have been off in NZ, below is the latest update.Hey fellas
Lucy and I are very well and now in Auckland.
Since our last e-mail we have traveled back through the middle of the South Island to the west coast to Pancake Rocks and finally made it through to Abel Tasmin where Lucy and I hired 2 sea kayaks and went off paddling for 3 days. It was fantastic to get back out on the water, especially as the water was the temperature as bath water!!! Just like Chertsey in the summer but with nice sandy beaches, seals and Orca whales.....
From there we drove onto Nelson which we quite liked but had to get on to start the Queen Charlotte Tramp the next day. The Queen Carlotte was a really good walk but long. You cover 80kms in three days!!!
